We will kickoff the weekend of events with a networking social co-hosted with the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The event will be in support of the Circle of Pride business program established in 2020 to provide local businesses a way to affirm their allyship with the LGBTQ+ community.
Guests will receive complimentary appetizers and drink specials provided by Sunset Club Rooftop Bar and Lounge. Come and mix and mingle with local business owners, community leaders and neighbors as we start the weekend of events for My Hollywood Pride.

Join us for brunch at Redwood Bar & Kitchen and celebrate City of Hollywood’s 100 score on the Municipal Equality Index published by the Human Rights Campaign. We are proud to celebrate this achievement for our 3rd year. City officials, including our Police and Fire Department and local elected figures, will be featured guests along with business and community leaders.
This brunch will also honor Franchesca D’Amore with our Trailblazer Award.
Franchesca D’Amore has a long history of community service and activism. Her activism has spanned the arts, education, homelessness, human rights, and healthcare issues. She is currently the Board Secretary for Safe Schools South Florida. Her passion for supporting LGBTQ+ youth inspired her to found the newly formed non-profit organization TransEd. The organization will create education opportunities for transgender and non-binary young adults via GED and vocational programs.
Franchesca has been the Entertainment Director for My Hollywood Pride since the inaugural Pride in 2022. A past board member of The Hollywood LGBTQ+ Council, Franchesca has a passion for equity in Hollywood, her city of residence. Franchesca is an Executive Committee member of the Broward Regional HIV Planning Council. Her mission is to use her unique life experiences to further inclusivity and equality for the LGBTQ+ community.
The family-style brunch will feature selections from Chef Ivan Dorval. His cuisine blends his Haitian roots with international flavors seasoned to perfection. Chef Ivan has worked at some of South Florida’s most iconic restaurants and has been a private chef to high-profile celebrities. This ticketed event will feature music from the South Florida Pride band and a special performance from the Miami Gay Chorus. The brunch will be followed by a short march to Anniversary Park to raise the Pride flag and kick off the official start of My Hollywood Pride Festival!
Tickets are $100, and all proceeds support the Hollywood LGBTQ+ Council to continue their advocacy work in Hollywood.

Hollywood was the first city in Florida, and the second in the nation, to raise the Progress Pride Flag at City Hall. Attendees of the Pride 100 Brunch will join members of the public at Anniversary Park to raise the flag and symbolically begin the celebration of My Hollywood Pride. We will be joined by our friends from House of Trouble, who create unique LGBTQ+ community events and parties across South Florida. The social club created by Hector Castaneda and Jorge Zambrano was designed to unite the queer community with their events.
